Iran Downed Israeli F-35 Jet Near Tehran
An Israeli F-35 fighter jet has reportedly been brought down near Varamin, approximately 35 kilometers southeast of Tehran, according to an announcement made by the Varamin governor on Wednesday morning.
A sophisticated fighter aircraft was downed by the Army’s air defense system, as reported by Governor Hossein Abassi, according to the official IRNA news agency.
Iranian armed forces have downed a fifth Israeli fighter jet following the initiation of an unexpected assault by Israel on Iran during the early hours of Friday, June 24.
