Hamas delegation visits Berri in Beirut

A Hamas delegation headed by member of Hamas’s Political Bureau and official of Arabic and Islamic relations Ezzat al-Resheq on Tuesday visited Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri in Beirut.

The convening parties held talks on the Palestinian Question and its developments especially the assassination attempt against the Hamas leader in Sidon Mohammad Hamdan.

Resheq extended his gratitude to Lebanon for capturing the attackers who carried out the failed liquidation attempt. He also hailed the Lebanese officials who condemned the incident.

The meeting also addressed other files including “the deal of the century” and the attempts to liquidate the Palestinian Question. He affirmed that the Palestinian people adheres to their land and rights.

The Hamas senior leader, Resheq, reiterated that his Movement refuses Washington’s measures against UNRWA and the Palestinian reconciliation.
