Wounded pilgrims left to die suffering: Ayatollah Araki

“Saudi rescue teams left the wounded pilgrims to die suffering,” stressed Ayatollah Araki.
“Saudis were at least expected to deliver drinking water to the wounded pilgrims,” Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Araki said, speaking to the official news website of the Center of Supervision on Mosques Affairs.
President of Iran top Unity center eminence noted that hundreds died of thirst because, according to him, “no rescue helicopter was sent to simply supply dying bodies with water.”
According to Rasa, Ayatollah Araki accused Saudi Police and Rescue teams of negligent, adding: “Saudi rescue teams left the wounded pilgrims to die suffering.”
Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought also demanded the international organizations to investigate the tragic incident.
