Iran Foreign Minister Warns that ‘israeli’ Aggression Will Strengthen Palestinian Defiance

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Iranian Foreign Minister, stated that the Israeli regime's violence against Palestinians will only serve to strengthen their solidarity and determination to oppose the occupiers of their homeland.

In honor of International Quds Day, celebrated on the last Friday of Ramadan, Amir-Abdollahian contributed an article to the Lebanese newspaper Al Akhbar in support of the Palestinian people and their struggle for liberation.

He declared that Israeli occupiers keep on performing their daily heinous acts, such as killing, imprisoning, and oppressing Palestinian women, children, and youths, desecrating the al-Aqsa Mosque regularly, and demolishing the homes of the authentic proprietors of the Palestinian land.

The Iranian diplomat noted that there is a multi-layered crisis and internal insecurity of the occupying regime of al-Quds, but at the same time, the Palestinian people and resistance groups are gaining strength, and Muslim and freedom-seeking countries and nations are showing greater support and solidarity for the Palestinian cause.

He noted that the internal situation in Israel has demonstrated that hope has been destroyed, and a sense of despondency about Israel’s future and endurance is growing.

He declared that the Palestinian youth, influenced by the Islamic Revolution in Iran, has transformed every area of Palestine into a site of defiance and gritty, powerful confrontation against the advanced military weaponry of the Zionist occupiers.

The Iranian foreign minister declared that the Palestinian people have come to understand the “totalitarian and terrorist” nature of the Israeli regime, leading them to be more unified than ever before to reject any reconciliation deals that have only incited Israel’s aggressive and usurping behavior.

He asserted that the Palestinian people are determined to attain their just rights, liberate their homeland, and defend their sacred sites and ideals by means of resistance.

He asserted that by becoming more cognizant of the Palestinian population and unveiling the disparities between the occupying powers, the truth about the bogus Israeli government has been exposed.

Amir-Abdollahian declared that it is evident that the public loathing of the Zionist regime has gone beyond Palestine and Muslim nations and people who seek justice and freedom around the globe are conscious of its iniquity and unlawful character, which violates human rights and endangers regional and global peace and safety.

He asserted that it has been demonstrated that Israel’s policies of occupation and expansion are incompatible with stability, security and peace in the region. Furthermore, he highlighted that the Tel Aviv regime is continually making attempts to sow discord and incite hostility, clashes and wars among Muslim nations in order to ensure its own security and survival.

The leading Iranian diplomat emphasized that recent developments in Palestine and the territories occupied by Israel have exposed the mistakes of certain countries in establishing formal ties with the Israeli government.

He reiterated that the Islamic Republic’s democratic solution involves a referendum in which all authentic Palestinians, including Muslims, Christians, and Jews, can participate to establish a Palestinian state from the Mediterranean Sea to the Jordan River.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Iran’s Special Envoy for the Middle East Affairs, declared that the initiative proposed by Iran, which has been recorded by the United Nations Secretariat, could be a just and tranquil solution for concluding the long-running catastrophe of Palestine – the oldest and most grievous calamity in modern history.

The Iranian foreign minister asserted that Palestine should remain a priority in the Muslim world for numerous reasons, emphasizing the need to bolster the Palestinian people’s fight and resistance against Israel until the total freedom of Palestine and al-Quds, as well as the repatriation of all the refugees to their homeland.

He expressed his wish that the Israeli occupiers would soon be removed and the first qibla of Muslims would be liberated.

On Thursday, in commemoration of International Quds Day, Iran’s Foreign Ministry released a statement criticizing the United States and some European countries for their “shameful” silence in the face of Israel’s atrocities and murders. The statement called for unity among Muslim nations to resist the Zionist regime and support the Palestinian people.
