Iran hands over meat from Haj sacrifice to poor Islamic countries

The representative of The Leader Of Islamic Ummah And Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei at the Hajj Organization said sacrifice meat will be distributed in poor areas of Muslim countries.
Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Ali Qazi Asgar, the representative of The Leader Of Islamic Ummah And Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei at the Hajj Organization said like previous years, the hajj sacrifice meat will be distributed in poor Muslim countries.

He underscored that the hajj sacrifice meat will be distributed in poor areas of Muslim countries such as famine-stricken Somalia, flood-hit Pakistan and Lebanon.

“In previous years, the meats were given to poor areas in Islamic countries and in this year the meat will be distributed again among these countries,” Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Ali Qazi Asgar underscored.

The sacrifice of animals is part of the annual congregation of Hajj. It commemorates Prophet Ibrahim’s (AS) supreme sacrifice in the way of his Lord.

“Accomplishing great goals, naturally, faced with some problems,” said the Islamic scholar stating that they should solve those problems and keep the balance in this way.
