Iran introduced the latest iteration of its Bavar-373 air defense system, marking a significant advancement in its military capabilities
During a recent tour by the Iranian President at the defense ministry's exhibition showcasing missile advancements, images unveiling the Bavar-373 air defense system made their inaugural appearance.

The Bavar system’s launchers have now been seamlessly integrated with tracking and fire control radars, marking a significant advancement from the initial version, which lacked an independent radar capability. This upgrade enables the Bavar launchers to function autonomously.
Analysis of the images suggests that each Bavar 373 launcher is equipped with a detection radar and features six launch units. It is probable that each launcher is capable of engaging hostile targets independently.
The integration of advanced launchers into the new system is expected to markedly enhance its engagement capabilities.
The latest iteration of the defense system has undergone significant updates across various components when compared to its predecessor.
