The Syrian army and Lebanon’s Hezbollah fighters have killed a Daesh member involved in terrorist bombings that took the lives of 44 people in south Beirut earlier this month, a Lebanese TV says.

The terrorist killed in the joint operation had transported the two bombers who detonated their explosives among a crowd in the Borj al-Barajneh neighborhood of Beirut on November 12, the al-Manar said Thursday, without giving details.

Some 240 others were wounded in the explosions which also targeted a security post in Hussaineya Street.

According to Lebanese officials, the terrorists initially planned to send five attackers to a hospital in the area but changed their plan due to heavy security presence.

Daesh terrorists have been committing horrendous crimes and terrorizing members of various communities, including Shias, Sunnis, Kurds and Christians.

The Lebanese army and Hezbollah fighters have carried out numerous operations against Daesh and another terrorist Takfiri group, al-Nusra Front, in the Arsal town on the Syrian border.

Hezbollah has also been helping the Syrian government in its fight against terrorists.
