New book probes econ crisis cycles

Iran’s Deputy Minister of Economy and Financial Affairs Behrouz Alishiri has published a book in which he explores the different aspects of the global economic crisis.

Crisis Cycles in Global Economy is a collection of notes and analyses written by the author about ten years ago while he was working on his PhD dissertation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

It took four years for Alishiri to finish the book, which has been presented at numerous international seminars around the world.

Crisis Cycles in Global Economy includes detailed studies of theories by various scholars and experts which provide readers with an encyclopedic source for researchers.

In his book Alishiri explores the identity of the global system as well as social and economical changes to show the relations between politics and economy.

His work also presents a theory on how different perspectives and theoretical paradigms influence the global political system.

Investment, innovations, the capitalist crisis and the school of war are the theoretical schools discussed in Alishiri’s book.
