Iran, Iraq, UK to mark festival of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)

Executive deputy of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought announced “Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), secret for the Unified Umma” as the motto for 26th Muslim unity conference to be held in Tehran.

Ali Moghaddas, Executive Deputy of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) said sacrilegious moves against the high character of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) will be the theme of Muslim unity conference and that the event will simultaneously be held in Iran, Iraq and UK.

He related on the general outline of the programs for Muslim unity conference saying,” World Forum plans to follow two separate programs in this conference, firstly the great festival of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) which is to be held on Friday January 25th and also a ceremony to tribute the high character of grand Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, former secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.

The second part of the conference, according to Ali Moghaddas, is the unity conference which is to be held on 27-28 January, 2013 concurrent with the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

The opening ceremony of the conference will be participated by the head of one of the three powers.

Rather than the general summit and expert level meetings the meeting for Muslim women union and also meeting of the Muslim merchants will be held in the 26th Muslim unity conference.

Ali Moghaddas also announced that about 400 international guests will participate in this conference.

He noted,” Beside the Muslim Unity conference, special programs will be carried out across Iran and other countries.” And added, “In a maiden move across the world the great festival of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) will be simultaneously marked in Iran and Iraq and UK.”

On the programs for Muslim unity week across Iran he said,” A meeting with the governors of Sunni-inhabited provinces so that festival of Muslim unity and also the great festival of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) be simultaneously held across the country.”
