Iran: Israeli assaults disproportionately killed civilians, especially women and children
Iran's Health Minister Mohammadreza Zafarghandi reports that the recent Israeli attacks on Iran have predominantly affected civilians, with a substantial portion among the casualties being women and children.

On Sunday, Zafarghandi reported that medical teams nationwide have been rigorously attending to those injured following the terror strikes launched by the Israeli regime, which commenced early Friday targeting Tehran and various other cities.
According to his statement, the majority of those who have lost their lives or been injured in recent days were civilians, with a significant number being women and children.
In the early hours of Friday, Israel initiated attacks against Iran, leading to the assassination of senior Iranian military officials and nuclear scientists. The strikes resulted in the deaths of over 70 civilians, including women and children.
The Tel Aviv government launched an extensive military operation across numerous sites within Iran, focusing on nuclear facilities, military infrastructure, and residential areas in Tehran and various other cities.
Iran initiated its retaliatory operation, designated “True Promise III,” against the Israeli regime by launching a series of missile strikes toward the occupied Palestinian territories on Friday night.
The operation commenced promptly after a televised address by Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, who declared that the “despicable” Israeli regime would be “rendered helpless” in the face of retaliation by the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic.
