Aleppo demo denounces Syria militants

A large number of Syrians have held a demonstration against foreign-backed militants in Aleppo, the country’s biggest city.

On Friday, the protesters chanted slogans denouncing the armed groups and their foreign backers and accusing them of destabilizing the country.

The demonstrators also urged the Syrian Army to retake the areas captured by the armed groups and to restore law and order.

In addition, the protesters accused the militants of stealing people’s belongings.

Since March 2011, thousands of protesters have staged numerous demonstrations in the streets of Syria, expressing their support for the government and condemning the foreign-sponsored terrorist activities in the country.

The Syrian government says that the chaos is being orchestrated from outside the country, and there are reports that a very large number of the militants are foreign nationals.

Militant groups, supported by certain Western states and their regional allies, such as Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, have been trying to topple the Syrian government for over 21 months.

And several international human rights organizations have accused the insurgents of committing war crimes.
