Iran: Nigerian authorities responsible for safety, health of Sheikh Zakzaky

Special Assistant to the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament for International Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Thursday that Nigerian authorities are responsible for the health and safety of Nigeria’s Shia top cleric Sheikh Zakzaky.

Sheikh Zakzaki is among great Islamic figures. The Nigerian authorities are responsible for his safety and health. It is expected from senior officials to lay the grounds for his urgent treatment inside Nigeria and abroad as well as for his immediate release from detention, Amir-Abdollahian tweeted.
