Iraqi cleric warns against new US, Zionist, Saudi plots

Speaking to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Wednesday, Sheikh Jassem al-Jazairi said that the Daesh (ISIS) terrorist group has been created based on an American-Zionist ideology and by relying on the financial supports by the countries in the Persian Gulf region.

Unfortunately, what we are witnessing now is the evil role of these countries led by Saudi Arabia in supporting terrorist armed groups in Syria, Yemen and Iraq, al-Jazairi said.

The Daesh terrorist group is the consequence of the US and Zionist conspiracy and we in Iraq have managed to triumphed over them and we believe that we can win the political and cultural war by relying on vigilance and insight of the people in Iraq, he said.
