Ahmadinejdad: Palestine should be liberated inch by inch

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Monday that the Palestinian soil should be liberated inch by inch from the occupation of the Zionist regime.

President Ahmadinejad made the remark in a meeting with the Islamic Jihad of Palestine Secretary General Ramadan Abdullah in Tehran on Monday.

In the meeting, Ahmadinejad highlighted various aspects of Islamic movements in Palestine and said all current events in the Middle East region are interrelated and Palestine is the key to all developments, he said.

All should exercise vigilance to prevent any deceitful measures by the US, Zionist regime and certain western states, he said.

Resistance should be stepped up in the struggle with global arrogance given the current sensitive developments taking place across the world, said President Ahmadinejad.

All countries should be liberated and democratic governments should come to power but existence of the Zionist regime would be futile, he said.

Countries in the region should not allow the western states to interfere in the Middle East affairs since they only aggravate the problems of the region, he said.

Struggling in the path of God will lead to more success and victories, said President Ahmadinejad.

In the past the issue of Palestine alone was the focal point of world public opinion but today other countries such as Egypt, Tunisia and Libya have become very important for world nations and this will be extended to other parts of the world such as the US and European countries, he said.

Justice and freedom are among the legitimate rights of all nations which will not be awarded by governments, he said.

BY grace of God, the US and Zionist regime are doomed to annihilation, said President Ahmadinejad.

Abdullah, for his part, said the Islamic Republic of Iran is now playing a pivotal role in the world of Islam.

The oppressed nations of the world count on Iran in their struggles with global arrogance and the people in Palestine as well as other people of the region will shoulder this grave responsibility along with the Islamic Republic of Iran, he said.
