Iran  experts set to resume talks in Vienna

A senior Iranian official says Iran and the 5+1 Group are set to resume expert-level nuclear talks in the Austrian capital of Vienna on Wednesday.

According to Press TV, Hamid Baeidinejad, who is director general for political and international security affairs at Iran’s Foreign Ministry, said on Monday that experts from Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security plus Germany will hold a new round of talks from June 4 to 5.

The Iranian official said that the talks will be held simultaneously with the quarterly meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) Board of Governors.

Baeidinejad will head the Iranian negotiating team while Stephen Clement, an aide to European Union Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton, will represent the other negotiating team.
