Great Satan US drones raid starving Somalia Civilians

Dozens of people have been wounded in airstrikes carried out by US unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV’s) in southern Somalia, Press TV reports.

The attacks took place on Monday when the American drones targeted six areas in Somalia’s south.

Hospitals in Somalia’s Kismayo region have been packed with wounded civilians. The precise number of casualties is yet to be announced.

The US military uses the remote-controlled drones to conduct spy missions and targeted killings in Somalia.

Dozens of people lost their lives on Sunday when the unmanned aircraft carried out attacks in Hoosingow, Diif, and Taabto districts of southern Somalia.

The airstrikes that have recently been stepped up have forced many residents of the targeted areas to leave their homes fearing further attacks.

Similar deadly strikes left at least 16 people dead and wounded dozens of others on Friday and Saturday.

Somalia has been without a functioning government since 1991, when warlords overthrew the country’s former dictator Mohamed Siad Barre.

The Horn of African country has been paralyzed by violence between al-Shabab fighters and government troops that are backed by African Union forces.
