‘Iran ready to launch direct flight to Kyrgyzstan’

Iran’s First Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi said Iran is ready to launch direct flights between Tehran and Bishkek.

According to IRNA, Rahimi made the remarks in his meeting with the Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev. The meeting took place in Bishkek on Wednesday.
Rahimi elaborated on the aim of the plan saying it is to pave the ways for business persons of both countries to promote their trade exchanges.
Rahimi then called for further Tehran-Bishkek relations in the cultural fields.
Referring to Iran’s self-sufficiency in implementation of the dams, power plants and technical projects, Rahimi said Iran is ready to share its experiences with the Kyrgyz side.
For his part, the Kyrgyz president thanked Rahimi for attending the prime ministers’ meeting of the 11th Shanghai Cooperation Organization that held in the Kyrgyz capital.
He said Kyrgyzstan is keen on gaining the Iranian experiences in various fields.
He further hoped Rahimi’s visit to Bishkek would open a new chapter in bilateral economic relations between Iran and Kyrgyzstan.
Rahimi ended his Bishkek visit on Wednesday.
