Iran Repels Israeli Attacks, Arrests Spy Cells

Iranian authorities today announced the successful repulsion of Israeli attacks targeting Tehran and Isfahan, while also confirming the arrest of multiple individuals suspected of espionage activities linked to ‘Israel’.

The Iranian Ministry of Health released a statement detailing the devastating impact of what it described as “Zionist aggression,” reporting 430 fatalities and over 3,500 civilian injuries since the commencement of the attacks. The Ministry further alleged that Israeli forces have deliberately targeted medical facilities, citing attacks on three hospitals and six ambulances as evidence of war crimes.

Media Reports indicate that explosions were heard east of Tehran, with Iranian air defenses actively intercepting incoming targets. The Deputy Governor of Isfahan confirmed that attacks were carried out on areas within the province, including a reported attempt to target the nuclear site in Isfahan, which was allegedly thwarted by air defenses. The Deputy Governor assured citizens that no hazardous materials were released as a result of the attacks.

The Iranian official indicated that one of the targets of the attack was the nuclear site in Isfahan, and that air defenses were able to intercept the attack. He explained that most of the sounds of explosions heard were caused by air defense units, while some of the other sounds were due to the enemy attacks themselves.

The deputy governor reassured citizens, confirming that no leakage of hazardous materials had been recorded in the area, and there was no cause for concern.

Espionage Networks

Iranian Mehr News Agency reported that 22 individuals were identified and arrested on suspicion of links to the Israeli espionage apparatus.

According to the head of the Intelligence and Public Security Department in Qom Province, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression, 22 individuals have been identified and arrested on suspicion of “links to the espionage apparatus of the aggressor Zionist entity, and on charges of spreading chaos among public opinion and supporting the criminal regime.”

Eight agents of the Israeli entity were also arrested while attempting to escape from Iran’s western border.

At dawn, two people were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli attack that targeted a residential building in the Salarieh district of Qom, south of Tehran.
