Iran Strikes Israel’s Nevatim, Ovda, Tel Nof Airbases, General Vahidi
Iran has launched the retaliatory Operation True Promise III, targeting three Israeli airbases that allegedly served as launch sites for attacks on the nation, according to a high-ranking commander.

In a Friday night broadcast on state television, Brigadier General Ahmadi Vahidi, a senior advisor to the commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, announced that Operation True Promise III has successfully targeted multiple locations within the occupied territories of Israel.
Iran has reportedly targeted the Nevatim and Ovda airbases, where Israel’s command and control, along with its electronic warfare centers, are situated. According to a military official, these bases had been utilized to launch aggressive actions against Iran.
According to General Vahidi, the IRGC targeted several sites including the Tel Nof airbase near Tel Aviv, the defense ministry of the Zionist regime, along with its industrial and military centers in Tel Aviv.
The operation planners meticulously evaluated more than 150 targets, executing strikes in several phases, he reported.
A senior military official has stated that Israel’s actions against Iran represent a significant miscalculation, cautioning that the country should prepare for the resulting repercussions.
In the course of Operation True Promise III, Iran launched hundreds of missiles on Friday evening, effectively penetrating the multi-layered air defense system of the Zionists, which had been highly praised for its reliability.
In the early hours of June 13, Israeli forces launched strikes targeting several residential neighborhoods in Tehran, as well as various locations across Iran.
At least six Iranian nuclear scientists, along with key military figures including Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri, IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami, Major General Gholam Ali Rashid of the Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters, and IRGC Aerospace Force Major General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, have reportedly been killed in the strikes.
Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, has issued a stern warning to the Zionist regime, asserting that it will face severe repercussions for its recent strike. He stated, “This crime has destined the Zionist regime for a bitter and painful end, which it will inevitably encounter.”
