Jordanian Delegation Starts Solidarity Visit to Syria

The delegation of the Jordanian Popular Committee for Supporting Syria and the Resistance, starting a solidarity visit to Syria, stressed standing by the Syrian people in the face of the conspiracy hatched against them.

Upon its arrival at Nassib border crossing point center in Daraa , Head of the Committee, Mansour Murad, said “the Committee made its decision to support Syria. We visited Syria earlier, issued statements, held symposiums and staged sit-ins in front of embassies whose countries have bad intentions towards Syria.

“We won’t allow the conspiracy to pass through the Jordanian borders into Syria. We will stand by the Syria people against any attack,” said Murad, stressing condemnation of the terrorist bombings which took place in Syria and claimed the lives of tens of innocent people.

For his part, Secretary-General of the Arab Bar Association, Samih Khreis, said “Our visit to Syria aimed at expressing support to our brothers against the conspiracy they face because of their support of the Arab issues.

Head of the Arab Legal Commission for Defending Syria in Jordan, Mohammad al-Shomali, said the visit is a message to unite the Syrian people to overcome the crisis, adding that the main goal of the Commission is to convey the reality of events taking place in Syria to Arab and international forums.

Members of the delegation underlined the importance of Syria’s role in the region, expressing readiness to sacrifice their souls to preserve Syria.

They said that we came to Syria to offer condolences to the families of the martyrs of terrorism and express support to the Syrian people that they are not alone in the face of terrorism and criminal acts committed by armed terrorist groups.

The delegation consists of 120 figures from several popular institutions and sectors in different Jordanian governorates.
