Iran: Zarif postpones regional visits due to meeting with Suprem Leader

Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham said on Thursday that Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif has on his agenda visits to regional countries but they are postponed to days after auspicious Fitr Feast (Fast breaking feast).

Afkham told IRNA that the visits are postponed due to Zarif’s tight schedule and meeting of Iranian nuclear team with Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei.

She said Iran is seriously determined to further expand ties with regional states and the neighbors.

She underlined talks and consultations on ongoing regional developments and key international subjects.
