Iranian Citizens Nationwide Rally in Solidarity with Armed Forces Against Israeli Aggression

In a coordinated nationwide display, large-scale demonstrations erupted in multiple Iranian cities on Friday. These gatherings followed the customary congregational prayers and served as a platform for citizens to voice their opposition to what they perceive as Israeli-American hostilities toward Iran. Participants also used the opportunity to demonstrate their support for the Iranian armed forces.
In Tehran, a massive demonstration unfolded as tens of thousands marched from the University of Tehran located in Enghelab Square to the iconic Azadi Tower in the western part of the city.
Protests were simultaneously held in a number of cities such as Mashhad, Isfahan, Tabriz, Qom, Shiraz, Qazvin, Yazd, and Gilan, where demonstrators expressed steadfast allegiance to the nation’s military forces.
Protesters defied warnings, holding images of those they consider martyrs and loudly criticizing the Zionist regime along with its Western allies, most notably the United States.
Chants of “Death to the Zionist regime,” “Death to American arrogance,” and “Long live the martyrs” resonated as a display of solidarity against perceived adversaries.
Individuals from diverse backgrounds and across various age categories exhibited a fresh resolve to challenge the Zionist regime and its imperialist partners.
A young protester in Tehran expressed unwavering dedication, stating, “I am here for Iran, for the sacred soil of this land, for the martyrs, for the Leader. I pledge to stand by my country until my last breath and last drop of blood,” as reported by the Press TV website.
Protesters nationwide have come together in defiance, as a significant boundary has been unequivocally breached. One demonstrator asserted, “We will avenge the sacred blood of our esteemed martyrs.”
The rallies came in response to the unexpected Israeli attacks last Friday that led to the deaths of several high-ranking Iranian military commanders, nuclear scientists, and numerous civilians, including women and children. This provoked Iran’s counteraction, termed Operation True Promise III.
In the ongoing operation’s fifteen phases, Iranian forces, under the leadership of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), have effectively targeted and destroyed strategic Israeli military and intelligence installations within the occupied Palestinian territories.
Military analysts report that recent missile and drone strikes have highlighted vulnerabilities in Israel’s air defense systems, prompting civilians and officials to evacuate their residences and seek refuge in subterranean shelters.
On Friday, large-scale demonstrations took place in both Iraq and Yemen as a show of solidarity with Iran in light of the Israeli regime’s aggressive actions. Participants at these rallies expressed strong condemnation of what they termed as the regime’s war crimes.
