The Israeli occupation police arrested last week a Palestinian young man in his 20s at the pretext of incitement against Israel on social media.

According to the Hebrew website Walla, the police lifted a gag order on the recent arrest of a Jerusalemite young man for posting comments and images on Facebook over the last 18 months that support the intifada (uprising) and the activities of Hamas and the resistance.

The detainee’s Facebook posts garnered vast numbers of responses from his 270,000 followers.

The Israeli military and security forces had kidnapped more than 150 Palestinian young men and women since the start of al-Quds intifada in early October last year over anti-Israel Facebook posts.
