Iranian Envoy: Zionist Regime Bigger Violator of Children Rights in Middle East

Addressing a UN Security Council meeting on “Children and Armed Conflict”, held in New York on Monday, Majid Takht Ravanchi accused the Zionist regime of carrying out the most systematic and gross violations of the rights of children in the Middle East.

He described the Israeli acts as barbaric and clear manifestations of genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The Iranian diplomat called for the punishment of the Israeli officials for the fundamental breach of norms and principles of international law.

“Protection of children, particularly girls, in armed conflicts is a fundamental moral and humanitarian principle and every effort must be made to ensure that it is fully respected by all parties in all conflicts.”
