Iranian FM Meets European Counterparts in New York

Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi held separate meetings with a number of his European counterparts on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting in New York.
Salehi held meetings with German, Swedish, Norwegian and Ukrainian foreign ministers, and discussed bilateral ties as well as regional and international developments.
He also met with foreign ministers of Libya, Pakistan, Ukraine, Georgia, Algeria, Singapore and Belarus on the sidelines of 67th annual session of the UN General Assembly on Thursday.
The important role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in settling down the regional issues, particularly Iran’s role in helping to resolve the Syrian crisis were among other topics of the talks between the foreign ministers.
