Thousands of Iranian physicians and medical staff staged rallies in different Iranian cities on Saturday to shout protest against the Israeli massacre of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
The Iranian doctors, nurses and hospital staff in their rallies voiced support for the Palestinian civilians, specially women and children in the Gaza Strip, who have come under Israel’s barbaric attack during the last five weeks.

The protesters also showed their hatred for those supporting the Zionist regime of Israel.

The protest rallies were held in Khuzestan, Hamedan, Isfahan and Semnan provinces on Saturday.

Chancellor of Khuzestan’s Jundi Shapour University of Medical Sciences Esmail Idani said the protesting medics, whose job is protecting people’s lives, condemn Israel’s crimes against the people of Gaza and voiced their material and spiritual support for the oppressed Palestinian nation in their today rallies.

He called on the international bodies to pave the way for the dispatch of medical and humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and also dispatch of the Palestinian patients abroad.

Meantime, Chancellor of Hamedan University of Medical Sciences Habibollah Moussavi-Bahar expressed sympathy for the families of the victims of Israeli crimes in the Gaza Strip, and said, “Today the Iranian Medical Society has heard the cries of help of the oppressed people of Gaza and announces it readiness for help.”

“The Iranian Medical Society also condemns all the crimes of the Zionist regime,” he added.

On Wednesday, thousands of university students, in a massive rally in the central city of Isfahan, shouted protest against the Israeli crimes against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, and urged world states and international bodies to stop the continued massacre of the Palestinian civilians.

The protesters in their mottos and final resolution called on the international bodies to deal with regretful conditions of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The protesters deplored the silence of Arab states over the massacre of the Palestinians and called on Arab leaders not to be indifferent to the mass killing of the Gaza people.

Israel has been pounding the blockaded Gaza for 33 consecutive days, killing nearly 1,900 people and injuring more than 11,000 others.

Four out of every five Palestinians killed during Israel’s ongoing military offensive in Gaza have been civilians, including dozens of women and children.
