Iranian Military Poised to Vigorously Defend National Borders Against Aggressors: Commander

Iran's Army Chief, Major General Amir Hatami, has announced that the nation's military forces are fully prepared to safeguard the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity against any potential aggressors.

In a Thursday meeting with the family of Colonel Mohammad Alizadeh, a prominent officer in the Air Defense Force who was martyred during the recent 12-day hostilities by the Israeli regime and the US against the Islamic Republic, Hatami made his remarks.

In a recent statement, it was declared that adversaries of Islamic Iran observed the unwavering unity and solidarity between the Iranian population and the Armed Forces. This coalition, described as stronger than ever before, remained steadfast in its commitment to their core beliefs and objectives, showing no sign of retreat.

Under the strategic guidance of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Armed Forces have demonstrated their preparedness to respond decisively to adversaries, he stated.

Hatami highlighted the steadfast determination of the Iranian Army’s Air Defense Force, declaring their unwavering resistance against the military capabilities of aggressive adversaries. He noted their success in emerging proud and victorious from the recent conflict involving Israeli and US forces.

On June 13, Israel initiated a striking offensive against Iran, resulting in the assassination of numerous senior military officials, nuclear scientists, and civilians.

Over a week after initial developments, the United States engaged in military action by launching strikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities. This move has been widely criticized as a serious breach of the United Nations Charter, international law, and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

In retaliation, the Iranian Armed Forces launched attacks on strategic locations throughout the occupied areas and the al-Udeid air base in Qatar, marking the largest American military installation in West Asia.

On June 24, Iran successfully executed retaliatory measures against both Israeli and U.S. forces, effectively bringing an end to the unlawful offensive.
