Iranian people hold rallies in solidarity with lost lives in Hajj stampede

People in the Iranian capital Tehran have flooded the streets in a show of solidarity with those who lost their lives in the stampede near Mecca on Thursday. The protesters blamed Saudi Arabia for the deadly incident which they said reveals Riyadh’s incompetence in providing safety for some two-million Muslims who gathered in the Kingdom to perform Hajj.
