A senior Iranian commander has declared that the country’s air force has developed tactics that will “surprise” any invaders.
“The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have always been aware of the necessity of improving their military might from the qualitative and quantitative points of view,” Gen. Seyyed Mohammad Alavi, the deputy commander of Iran’s Air Force said.
He stressed that Iran’s military might will be used to establish peace and security in the region and it will also serve Iran’s neighbors.
“We have techniques and tactics that will spring a big surprise on enemies, which will be beyond their expectation,” he noted.
Alavi also said that ‘tens’ of Iranian fighter jets and bomber aircraft will put on show the Iranian Air Force’s defensive might, as part of the Armed Forces Day parade to be held on September 22.
