Bosnian president says Rafsanjani is hero of peace of Muslim World

The Bosnian president recalled the years of war and devastation in his country, saying that the Bosnian government and nation will never forget Iran’s support for their country during tough times.

Izetbegovic honored Iran’s stability in the much destabilized region of the world.

He expressed hope that with the help of Iran and the international community, the region would get rid of instability that tarnishes the image of Islam.

Ayatollah Rafsanjani said for his part that Iran regards Bosnia as gate of Europe.

He expressed hope that the friendly state of Bosnia will take advantage of its location as the gate of Europe, saying that business with Bosnia will be profitable in light of its vicinity to Europe.

Rafsanjani said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is willing to promote ties with the international community and the Muslim World, in particular.

Rafsanjani said that both the Iranian nation and the private sector are keen on enhanced relations with Bosnia.
