Syrian Troops Smash Al-Nusra Front in Lattakia Outskirts

The Syrian Armed Forces targeted gatherings and dens of al-Nusra Front in the villages of al-Hilwa, al-Ghnaimiye and al-Rabiya in Lattakia countryside, killing a large number of terrorists, including a non-Syrian anti-government fighter.
A Chechen militant who led a terrorist group as well as Abdelhamid Khadoura and Abdelrahman Khadoura were among the killed insurgents in the army mop-up operations.

In a clash between al-Nusra Front’s members and other rebels from a group known as “Hittin brigade” over stolen items, 9 militants were killed in the village of al-Duwairkeh and 3 other rebels were killed in the village of Kanasba.
