The Iraqi army and popular forces in joint operations in the suburbs of Baghdad killed nearly half a dozen Takfiri militants.
At least 5 ISIL terrorists were killed and many more injured in heavy clashes with the Iraqi forces in the Southern parts of Baghdad.
Several vehicles of the ISIL terrorists were also destroyed in the Iraqi forces’ operations.
Meantime, a bomb-laden car exploded in Southern Baghdad, killing a number of militants.
Earlier today, the Iraqi air strikes hit the positions of the ISIL terrorists in Nineveh province, and killed 22 senior commanders of the terrorist group.
The Iraqi warplanes bombed an ISIL position in Southern Mosul, killing 22 Takfiri militants.
The ISIL Takfiri terrorists currently control shrinking swathes of Syria and Iraq. They have threatened all communities, including Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Ezadi Kurds and others, as they continue their atrocities in Iraq.
Senior Iraqi and Syrian officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Persian Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.
The ISIL has links with Saudi intelligence and is believed to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime; FNA reported.
