School students martyred in Bab Sharqi terrorist attack laid to rest

The bodies of the students who were martyred Monday in a terrorist mortar attack that targeted their school bus in the area of Bab Sharqi in Damascus were escorted to their final resting place.

The students, Venesia Maikho, Majd Shihada, Huvanyous Akovian and Muneir Sahhoum, in addition to the bus’ driver, Rafeed Khouri, were martyred in front of al-Risala school.

Relatives of the martyrs stressed that the terrorist acts will not dissuade them from encouraging their children to continue their studies, expressing their faith in the ability of the Syrian people to overcome the current crisis through adhering to national unity.

They said that the bloos of Syria’s martyrs will make the homeland immune to all challenges, calling on the Syrians who were misled and got involved in the events to comprehend that the Al Saud are perpetrating the Zionist schemes through providing support to the armed terrorist groups.

The students’ families underlined that the Syrians will remain united and that Syria will remain firm against all the conspiracies and challenges.
