Yemen announces preparedness to respond should Israel restart military operations in Gaza and Lebanon

Yemen stands ready to promptly recommence operations against Israel should the latter breach ceasefire agreements in Gaza and Lebanon and escalate its actions, as stated by Ansarullah leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.

In a speech commemorating the 2015 withdrawal of US Marines from Sana’a, Houthi addressed concerns that Israel might reignite hostilities in Gaza due to delays in carrying out the second phase of the ceasefire agreement.

He stated that Israel must recognize that, despite its reliance on American support, it will not accomplish its objectives if it chooses to escalate tensions.

A spokesperson stated that their forces stand prepared to respond decisively and escalate actions against Israel should there be a resumption of hostilities in Gaza.

Should the adversary resume its escalatory actions, the situation will revert to the perils and conditions reminiscent of wartime, affecting security, military, and economic aspects irrespective of any backing from the United States.

The Yemeni leader asserted their commitment to actively participate in any escalation or broad-based aggression targeting Lebanon. They pledged unwavering support for the Lebanese people and the resistance, both militarily and otherwise.

He stated that Israel’s objective in postponing its withdrawal from Lebanon was to prolong its offensive actions aimed at destroying the remaining structures in Lebanese villages, homes, and agricultural land.

He affirmed their support for Hezbollah and the people of Lebanon, expressing readiness for any potential escalation or full-scale conflict involving Lebanon.

“Our stance remains resolute in the face of any challenges.”

Houthi addressed the controversial US-Israeli initiative aimed at relocating residents of Gaza, a plan that has sparked widespread international condemnation.

He described the American initiative as an overt and audacious act of aggression, labeling it as a complete disgrace. He expressed confidence that Gazans will successfully resist and overcome this attempt to occupy their territory.

Speculation is mounting over whether former U.S. President Donald Trump might attempt to purchase the Gaza Strip from its residents, who have steadfastly upheld their rights for 15 months in the face of unprecedented violence and aggression.

“Do you believe that after demonstrating unparalleled resilience and immense sacrifice, the honorable citizens of Gaza would relinquish their homeland?”

The Houthi group has announced that circumstances are currently favorable for Arab and Muslim nations to come together and oppose what they describe as a plan to displace people in Gaza.

Houthi stated that aligning with the United States’ position on the displacement of the Palestinian population does not serve anyone’s interest.

The stance adopted by the United States highlights an awareness that the alternatives suggested by Arab regimes and leaders may not be feasible.

The Houthi group has accused the United States of attempting to shape a narrative within the Arab world that positions Israel as an ally and Iran as an adversary.

Labeling Iran as the adversary based on Israeli and American narratives reflects a misunderstanding and misjudgment, as well as a lack of awareness, according to some perspectives.

The Houthi movement has urged the Muslim community to rally together in opposition to what it describes as the strategic agendas of the United States and Israel. The group further asserted that any parties expecting advantages from aligning with Washington are “misguided” in their beliefs.
