Iraq’s Hashd Al-Sha’abi (Popular Mobilization Units) forces are currently engaged in a fierce battle with the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) near the city of Mosul in the Ninawa (Nineveh) Governorate.
