Iraqi forces liberate Khfajia village from ISIL control

Iraqi security forces have liberated al-Khafaji village from the control of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) terrorists.

Spokesman of the General Command of Iraq’s Armed Forces Major General Qassim Atta said on Tuesday that Barwana sub-district along with al-Khafaji village have been completely purged of the terrorists of the Islamic state of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) group.
