Iraqi forces liberate two villages near in western Mosul

The Iraqi Armed Forces liberated two villages in the western countryside of Mosul after a swift advance on Wednesday.

Led by the Popular Mobilization Units (Hashd Al-Sha’abi), the Iraqi Armed Forces liberated the villages of Yasseen Rahiliyah near the recently captured Badush area in western Mosul.

In addition to their advance outside of Mosul, the Iraqi Army and Federal Police also managed to secure several points inside the provincial capital, forcing the Islamic State (ISIL) terrorists to withdraw further northwest.
