Iraqi Forces Make Major Gains in Salahuddin Province

The official journalists with the Ministry of Defense revealed on Thursday, that the security forces managed to liberate five villages from the ISIS control in the northern axis of Salahuddin Province.

The official journalists reported that “Salahuddin Operations troops, including the army, Anti-Terrorism, Federal Police, Rapid Intervention and al-Hashd al-Shaabi forces, backed by the Iraqi Air Force and Iraqi Army Aviation managed to liberate al-Salam, al-Gouza, Ein al-Faras, al-Salihiya and al-Fiadiya villages.”

The statement added, “The security forces also liberated all the villages in the northern axis of the province;” iraqinews reported.
