IRGC: A more forceful retaliation is in store for ‘israel’ following the assassination of a Hamas leader
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) of Iran has pledged to retaliate against Israel for the assassination of senior Hamas leader, Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran. They vowed the response would surpass the previous retaliation for Tel Aviv's acts of aggression.

Brigadier General Ali Fadavi, the Deputy Commander of the Corps, stated on Monday that the Zionist regime, through its act of assassination against martyr Haniyeh, has committed a grave crime and will face harsher consequences than previously.
He stated that the consequences would be delivered “at the appropriate time and location.”
“The time and location of our retribution will be determined by us,” the commander remarked, assuring, “And it is certain to happen.”
Haniyeh, the former head of the Palestinian resistance movement’s Political Bureau, was assassinated in a targeted operation in Tehran at the end of last month. He had traveled to the Iranian capital for the inauguration ceremony of Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian.
The Israeli government has denied any involvement, but Iran has firmly blamed them for the horrific act and has promised a severe retaliation.
Earlier this year, the IRGC launched a series of retaliatory attacks named Operation True Promise, aimed at the occupied Palestinian territories using a combination of drones and missiles.
The mission was launched following the regime’s terrorist airstrikes on the consular section of Iran’s Embassy in Damascus, the Syrian capital. These attacks resulted in the deaths of two generals from the Corps and five of their accompanying officers.
Continuing to address Iran’s anticipated reaction to Haniyeh’s assassination, Fadavi remarked, “The occupied territories are in complete disarray” as the regime anxiously awaited the response “around the clock.”
