IRGC chief: Resistance front prepared to deliver a decisive response to ‘wickedness front’

"U.S. and Israel Advancing Towards Potential Decline, Sources Suggest"

Major General Hossein Salami issued a statement on Sunday in observance of the National Day of the Fight against Global Arrogance, commonly referred to as National Student Day. This day commemorates the 1979 seizure of the United States Embassy by Iranian students in Tehran.

In a statement highlighting a significant milestone, Salami described the day as an “indelible watershed,” underlining its role in unveiling the true nature of the United States and its actions against nations striving for freedom and rights globally.

In a recent statement, Salami criticized what he described as Israeli actions, allegedly carried out under Washington’s directive and support, as violations impacting the strategic West Asia region. He particularly highlighted the situations in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, deeming these actions as significant justification for questioning the credibility of American human rights advocacy.

Iran has issued a stern warning to what it describes as its “enemy number one” and referred to as a “rabid dog” of a terrorist regime. The statement vows that the Islamic resistance in the region, bolstered by divine support and the bravery of its fighters who currently hold a strategic advantage, will deliver a decisive and forceful response to adversarial actions.

The resistance front and Islamic Iran are preparing to arm themselves with all necessary resources to effectively confront and overcome adversaries, remaining undeterred by the threats and aggressive postures emanating from the leadership in Washington and Tel Aviv.

Nationwide demonstrations commenced at 9:30 a.m. local time (0600 GMT) on Sunday, marking the National Day of the Fight against Global Arrogance. The events were held to observe the anniversary of the takeover of the United States embassy.

In Tehran, the capital of Iran, demonstrators convened outside the site of the former U.S. embassy, widely referred to as the “Den of Espionage.”

On November 4, 1979, a group of Iranian university students seized control of the United States embassy in Tehran. This event occurred less than a year following the Islamic Revolution, which had ousted the US-supported Pahlavi regime.

Subsequent releases of documents by authorities have provided evidence confirming that the compound was actively involved in schemes and preparations aimed at toppling the Islamic Republic.

The event has since become emblematic of resistance and a determined struggle against imperial forces, highlighting the Iranian students’ alertness in confronting threats from Washington.

“US and Israel Facing Increasing Challenges Amid Rising Tensions”

In a speech delivered at the ceremony, the chief commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) criticized the United States, accusing it of being responsible for global crimes and atrocities. The commander further claimed that both Washington and Tel Aviv are approaching their decline.

In a statement reflecting ongoing tensions, Salami accused America of presenting a paradoxical identity on the global stage. He asserted that while the United States advocates for democracy, freedom, prosperity, security, human rights, world order, and global peace, it simultaneously serves as the root cause of political and military instability. Salami further alleged that the U.S. is responsible for inciting crimes, massacres, aggression, and occupations worldwide.

In a recent statement, Salami emphasized that both the United States and Israel are nearing a critical juncture in their geopolitical influence. He stated, “Our consistent warning to them is clear: failure to alter their current actions will inevitably lead to their decline and potential downfall. This trajectory aligns with the aspirations of the Islamic Ummah, which will ultimately assert itself.”

The chief commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps emphasized that the destiny of the West Asia region will be shaped by Muslims. He declared, “The prospect of American dominance over the Islamic world is nonexistent.”
