IRGC Commander Asserts Iran’s Unyielding Stance Amid Tensions with Foes

The top commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has stated that Iran has acquired the strategies needed to overcome adversaries and remains resolute in not retreating even "one step" when facing threats.

Major General Hossein Salami has emphatically stated that there is no apprehension regarding the prospect of war. Speaking in a meeting with senior commanders and managers of the IRGC on Saturday, Salami emphasized that while they have no intention of starting a conflict, they are fully prepared for any potential engagement.

He stated that preparations are in place for any eventuality, whether it be a psychological maneuver or military engagement by adversaries. Nevertheless, he emphasized that there will be no retreat in the face of opposition.

The adversary, based on misguided beliefs regarding Iran’s deterrent capabilities, is attempting to compel Tehran into a decision between confrontation and acquiescing to the adversary’s demands, he indicated.

The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps highlighted the perceived susceptibility of the Israeli government, citing its expansive interests which, according to him, fall within Iran’s strategic reach globally.

He stated that they have successfully obtained the expertise and formulas necessary to defeat this adversary, integrating them into all aspects of their weaponry and equipment.

He emphasized that Iran possesses both the necessary hardware and software capabilities to overcome the Israeli regime, even in the face of unwavering support from the United States.

He cautioned opponents against any potential missteps, emphasizing that Iran’s growing influence and sustained capabilities continue to pose a significant challenge.

He highlighted that they have amassed significant capabilities, with the ability to reach and target adversaries, and are prepared to showcase their true potential.

Iran’s military capabilities were highlighted through its “successful” retaliatory operations against Israel last year, known as Operation True Promise I and II, according to statements made by an official.

Salami highlighted that in spite of Israel’s sophisticated missile defense systems, 581 Iranian missiles successfully reached targets within the occupied territories.

The dual operations, executed with the deployment of numerous ballistic missiles and drones, demonstrated Iran’s capacity to precisely target critical Israeli military and intelligence sites.

Iranian authorities have emphasized that the nation utilized only a minimal portion of its military capabilities during the coordinated retaliatory actions.

In other statements, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) praised the increasing strength of the resistance front, asserting that adversaries are incapable of facing it.

Salami stated that the resistance faction has not yet fully revealed its potential, opting for a cautious approach to manage the extent of the conflict.
