Tens of terrorists, including Al-Nusra Front Takfiri terrorists and the Free Syrian Army militants, were killed in Quneitra countryside.

The Syrian army also hit the positions of Al-Nusra Front terrorist group in Jebel al-Zawiya region and killed tens of terrorists in that area, including an Al-Nusra commander named Abu Ons Al-Tunisi.

The Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) succeeded in recapturing the village of Abu Qasayeb in the Tal Hamis area in Southeast al-Qamishli, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

The observatory said three YPG fighters also were killed in the operation to recapture the village, which was seized by the ISIL on Tuesday.

Syrian government’s troops and the YPG have recently been engaged in clashes with the ISIL in the predominantly Kurdish city of al-Qamishli as part of a broader conflict that has gripped Syria for about four years.

Elsewhere, Syrian Armed Forces, in a series of heavy clashes, killed, injured and arrested a large number of militants in various areas across Damascus province.

The Syrian Army inflicted heavy losses upon militants in the farms and villages of al-Ghouta, al-Qalamoun and Khan al-Sheikh in Damascus countryside.

The Syrian army killed and injured many militants in Mas’ada, Um al-Reesh, Rajm al-Qasr, Rahhoum, Onq al-Hawa, Jebb al-Jarrah and al-Saan in the countryside of the central province of Homs.

In al-Rastan area, 24 km North of Homs downtown, which has been one of al-Nusra Front’s important strongholds in the province, many terrorists were killed on al-Ghajar-Kiseen road, while a long convoy of their vehicles was exploded by the army.

Another long convoy of militants’ vehicles loaded with weapons and ammunitions was targeted by the army in Kafr Lata and Ma’saran in the countryside of the Northern Province of Idlib.

Full supports of certain western powers and their regional allies fueled security crisis in Syria, but the country’s army and government did not take even one step back in their anti-terrorism campaign, and have vowed to continue their fight until eradication of insurgency and restoration of peace and tranquility to the Middle-Eastern country.
