The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Forces have commenced the concluding phase of the Payambar-e-A’azam 19 military exercises in the western region of Iran.
On Thursday, military personnel and equipment were rapidly deployed to a designated exercise zone as part of a series of rapid response operation scenarios.
In a swift and coordinated maneuver, units outfitted with essential equipment and supported by helicopter air cover from the IRGC Ground Force Airborne Division rapidly mobilized and deployed to the designated exercise zone. The final phase of the Payambar-e-A’azam (The Great Prophet) 19 military exercise saw the launch of a missile in Iran’s western Kermanshah province on January 9, 2025. This event was captured in a photograph by Tasnim News Agency.
The Saberin Special Forces of the IRGC Ground Force successfully executed a heliborne operation and a Special Patrol Insertion/Extraction (SPIE) exercise within the designated area of the military maneuvers.
In a strategic military exercise named “Payambar-e-A’azam 19” conducted on January 9, 2025, in Iran’s western province of Kermanshah, forces were strategically positioned in predetermined areas to simulate the capture of high ground and enemy supply routes. The maneuvers aimed to disrupt support lines by targeting designated objectives during the final phase of the exercise. The operation illustrates the capabilities and tactical preparedness of the forces involved. This report is based on a photo released by the Tasnim news agency.
In a separate segment of the exercise, Cobra helicopters from the IRGC Ground Force Airborne Division engaged in precision drills, focusing on the elimination of designated targets.
Helicopters engaged in the operation successfully neutralized their assigned targets using 70mm Hydra rockets and 20mm cannons.
The chief commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has affirmed that Iran’s armed forces are currently at their highest level of preparedness to safeguard the nation’s territorial integrity and independence.
Major General Hossein Salami has accused the United States, along with its regional allies and the Israeli government, of fostering conflict, division, and societal decline among Muslim communities.
In a statement, he asserted that adversaries harbor the notion that undermining the destiny, security, and homes of Muslims is essential for their own survival and safety. He accused them of not hesitating to take drastic measures, including targeting nations that bear no relevance to their conflict.
In response to the latest series of Israeli airstrikes on Syria, General Salami condemned the assaults, highlighting the targeted destruction of the country’s civilian facilities and military infrastructure. He criticized the attacks on what he described as a defenseless Arab nation and emphasized the significant damage inflicted on its factories, industries, and essential defense installations.
He stated that historical aggressors would not offer mercy to a nation left defenseless and lacking in strength, urging vigilance and fortification.
The Chief Commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has asserted that the ideology of dominant global powers lacks logic, justice, and fairness.
“If a nation is perceived as vulnerable, it may become a target for aggression and devastation. Its citizens could face significant harm, and the youngest members of its population might experience severe consequences, often without any reprieve.”
