IRGC Navy tests new equipments in 5th tactical drills

Sources say that the drills were held for preparedness, increased combat abilities, getting familiarity with recent advancements in modern warfare, speed-up, proper action in times of natural and artificial disaster, and getting familiarity with the use of new weaponry ,with Rear Admiral Torabi, Commander of the IRGC 1st Naval Zone, participating.
In the course of the drills, based on prior assessments advantages and disadvantages were corrected according to the personnel’s capabilities. With all the forces from regional units in different classes of new warfare brigades, the new equipments were tested and operationalized.

In the sidelines of the drills, commander of the IRGC 1st Naval Zone, stressed the need for preparedness and boost of defense and operational power, and said “our abilities today are incomparable to those in the past. Using past experience and current technology, our youth have proved their abilities to the world and are prepared for any threats.”

“At the IRGC 1st Naval Zone, we have a power beyond what is needed and with the arrival of new forces and equipment, the power is increasing.”
