IRGC set to conduct comprehensive and robust military exercises in the forthcoming days

A high-ranking Iranian military official has revealed plans for the nation's armed forces to conduct comprehensive and robust military exercises. These drills will engage both the Iranian Army and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) in a coordinated effort.

Major General Gholam-Ali Rashid, who leads the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of the Islamic Republic, announced on Wednesday during a high-level assembly of senior officers from the Iranian Armed Forces.

A spokesperson announced that the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic are scheduled to conduct a series of robust defensive and offensive military exercises in the coming days and weeks.

Rashid has reported that the Army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) routinely participate in joint military exercises, particularly during the latter half of the Persian calendar year. These exercises are conducted across diverse terrains, airspace, and waters throughout the country.

The commander announced that the exercises would involve both defensive and offensive military equipment, aimed at countering perceived threats to the Iranian nation.

According to an official statement, the Headquarters oversees and coordinates around 30 major military exercises annually to ensure their successful execution.

The execution of these maneuvers is designed to evaluate the Armed Forces’ readiness to confront potential threats, ensuring both defensive and offensive capabilities to effectively neutralize adversaries. The drills are meticulously and strategically planned, conducted with utmost seriousness to catch the enemy off guard and bolster national security readiness.

Rashid asserted that the Israeli government has been laboring under a misconception and has misjudged the Islamic Republic. He emphasized that the nation’s formidable offensive actions, particularly Operation True Promise II, showcased merely a minor segment of the Armed Forces’ offensive potential.

The operation witnessed the launch of ballistic missiles targeting military installations and pre-designated locations, demonstrating to both our leadership and the global audience that the airspace over the occupied Palestinian territories is, contrary to the regime’s media assertions, vulnerable and unprotected against our assaults.

The commander emphasized that, in accordance with the Islamic Republic’s defensive doctrine, the nation consistently refrains from being the instigator of any conflict in the region.

Rashid announced that a series of intensive military exercises are scheduled to commence shortly, aimed at bolstering the nation’s defensive and offensive capabilities to effectively address any potential threats.
