On Tuesday, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) announced the successful targeting of the Israeli Military Intelligence Unit 8200 at the Glilot base, located near Tel Aviv.
In a strategic operation early Tuesday morning, June 17, the IRGC aerospace division successfully targeted a key military intelligence hub in Tel Aviv associated with the Zionist regime. Despite the presence of advanced defense systems, the operation impacted the center known as Aman and the Mossad, the planning hub for terror activities, which is reportedly engulfed in flames, according to the statement.
Images shared on social media on Tuesday depicted the ‘Aman’ logistics center, a component of the Israeli military intelligence complex located in Glilot near Tel Aviv, engulfed in flames.
Aman stands as one of the oldest intelligence agencies, having been established shortly after the formation of the Israeli state.
Its primary objective is to collect and provide intelligence to Israel’s Mossad, facilitating operations that involve targeted actions globally, including activities within Iran.
Aman, the intelligence division, incorporates advanced surveillance units that facilitate specialized military operations, such as Unit 8200, focused on signals intelligence; Unit 504, dedicated to human intelligence; and Unit 9900, specializing in geospatial intelligence.
Despite the comprehensive prohibition on publishing images related to the setbacks endured by the regime during the ongoing Operation True Promise III, conducted by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), numerous videos have surfaced displaying the Aman center engulfed in intense flames.
The assault occurred in the early hours of Tuesday as part of the ninth phase of Operation True Promise III, which commenced on Friday night. This operation began following the Israeli regime’s assassination of multiple high-ranking Iranian military leaders, nuclear scientists, and civilians, among them women and children.
Since Friday, Israel has maintained its offensive against Iran, launching a series of attacks predominantly targeting civilian areas.
On Monday, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) facility in uptown Tehran was targeted during a live news broadcast, leading to the tragic loss of two journalists.
Iran has urged the international community to denounce and hold the regime accountable for its ongoing acts of aggression, while pledging to utilize all available resources to defend the nation.
Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi, a senior advisor to the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), stated on Monday that Iran’s new-generation missiles are merely a glimpse of the nation’s sophisticated military capabilities.
He stated that advanced equipment would be deployed as needed, dismissing any suggestion of a dwindling missile stockpile as laughable. He emphasized that their strategic arsenal remains unused.
