IRI to unveil 2 new medicines for asthma treatment

Deputy of the Ministry of Health and Medical sciences in research and technology, affairs, Dr Mostafa Ghanei said two medicines named salmeterol and fluticazole, use for asthma treatment will be unveiled in Feb 11, 2011.

“This is while that some 60 million dollars has been paid for importing the medicines within the last two years,” Ghanei told IRIB on the sidelines of the 16th Razi Research Festival on Medical Sciences.

He said the physicians of the country had many medical achievements during recent years.
