(FILE) Iraqi forces kill 112 ISIS elements in battles west of Ramadi

 

The commander of the Seventh Division of the Iraqi army, Maj. Gen. Abdul-Zobaie Nauman, announced on Thursday the killing 112 ISIS elements in a battle called the “Bride of all battles” in the areas of al-Baghdadi and Haditha west of Ramadi.

Zobaie said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “ISIS (ISIL) launched during the past 72 hours an attack on the areas of al-Baghdadi and Haditha west of Ramadi.”

Zobaie added that “the battle ended with ISIS loss of the Battle, while the security forces, al-Hashed al-Shaabi fighters, the Iraqi Aviation foiled the ISIS attack, inflicting big losses upon them,”.

He said: “the security forces killed 112 elements of the terrorist group during the battle and destroyed dozens of their vehicles.”
