ISIL’s Intelligence Commander Killed in Syrian Airstrikes in Deir Ezzur

A notorious intelligence commander of ISIL was killed in Syrian air raids on the terrorist group’s command base near Deir Ezzur city.

One of the senior intelligence commanders of ISIL known as Abu Mazen and a number of his comrades were killed in Syrian air raids on the terrorists’ command base in Panorama farms.

Syrian warplanes also pounded ISIL’s gatherings on Western side of Panorama square, destroying several military vehicles of the terrorists.

In relevant developments in the province on Monday, Syrian Army troops stormed ISIL’s positions in the Eastern city of Deir Ezzur, inflicting at least 20 casualties on the militants and destroying their base.

The army soldiers attacked ISIL’s centers in al-Orfi neighborhood, killing at least 20 terrorists and wounding many more.

In the meantime, the army men targeted an ISIL drone flying over al-Rusfeh region.\

Several bomb-laden suicide vehicles of the ISIL were also targeted by the army in the village of al-Jafrah near Deir Ezzur airport, defusing a large-scale attack that was due to kick off by the ISIL after a wave of suicide attacks on the airport.

The Syrian Air Force, for its part, bombed heavily ISIL’s hideouts and military vehicles in al-Thardah mountain, destroying at least five vehicles and a militant hideout.
