Islamic Iran President welcomes formation of arbitration board

IRI President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Wednesday welcomed formation of a Supreme arbitration board proposed by Leader of the Islamic Ummah And Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei.

During a joint session between the Iranian cabinet and administrative officials, the President appreciated the initiative and stressed his government’s frank will to observe laws and regulations in the country.

He said the government was ready for a sincere and full cooperation with the high arbitration board and will implement any kind of decision adopted by the board.

The IR Leader on Monday appointed former judiciary chief Ayatollah Sayyed Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi to chair the high arbitration board to settle differences at the top three branches of power.

According to a decree, the high arbitration board was set up in line with clause 7 of Article 110 of the Constitution.

The Leader of the Islamic Ummah And Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei assigned the body to ensure harmony among the three branches of government and settle the differences among their chiefs.
